Reader Feedback

Below are some emails I have received from readers. Di seguito trovate delle email che ho ricevuto dai miei lettori.

I am Jessica, a first year PhD student here at Ghent University. I write this short mail to let you know how grateful I am for the great work you have done through your educative books about scientific writing and presentations for international conferences. I am starting to make preparations to write my very first scientific article, and I was very stressed and depressed because I did not have a single idea how to start not until when I happened to attend the IAFP conference in Ede, the Netherlands last month where I met Suzan from Springer on her desk with a book displayed on a subject which I now regard as my “saviour”. I can never thank you so much but I have started to promote your products to all my friends and if I finish and go back to my country Uganda, I will continue to spread “the good gospel” of your work.

I loved your book English for Academic Correspondence and Socializing, which I recommended to my EP-USP network and also to the Federal University of Mato Grosso, where I taught the writing course last year.

I’m Mehdi Zouaoui, a supply university English teacher in Algeria; I’ve just completed reading your book intitled English for Research Papers and it was really a great pleasure to read this references. By reading it, I was able to spot some of the numerous mistakes I commit usually.

I read your interesting book entitled – English for Writing Research Papers.
I am especially interested in the plagiarism section of your book. Here the alarming situation has an increasingly high-speed.
Some researchers from Algeria publish their manuscripts in many fast-answering journals accepting any kind of papers provided that they receive money.

I am pleased to have found your book and have recommended it to my family and friends. In fact, I often read your book on the bus to work or on my journey back home.
