ENGLISH FOR ACADEMICS sas di AJ WALLWORK (henceforth E4AC) undertakes to respect the privacy of users of the site within the terms established by the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data and in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter the "Regulation").

This document provides information on the processing of personal data collected through this website (hereinafter "site") and therefore constitutes information to interested parties pursuant to the aforementioned regulations.

Data Controller

The data controller is English for Academics sas, in the person of its legal representative Adrian John Wallwork.

Types of data

Some parts of the pages and / or content of e4ac.com are accessible without requiring your identification for consultation. Instead, for other areas of the site or to process any requests from the interested party, there is a registration procedure. This procedure requires the compilation of fields with personal / institutional data (eg name + surname, e-mail address of your department or institution, name and address of your department or institution, VAT number / tax code).

E4AC may also become aware of your personal data should you decide to transmit such data via e-mail along with, for example, administrative forms to be completed, orders, and invoices.

Navigation data

The processing of personal data of users who only visit e4ac.com (ie without sending communications or using any of the services / functions) is restricted to the navigation data, ie data for which the transmission to the site is needed for the computer manage the site and the use of Internet communication protocols. This category includes, for example, IP addresses, or domains of computers used to visit the site and other parameters related to the user operating system to connect to the site.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing

E4AC processes personal data within the limits of what is strictly necessary for the performance of its commercial activity. The purposes of data processing are exclusively connected to:

- the management of invoicing and other administrative or accounting practices relating to the services provided by E4AC;

- newsletters, information and advertising material or conducting surveys.

The legal basis for this purpose is art. 6.1, letter a of EU Regulation 2016/679. 

The data may also be processed, even without the consent of the interested party, for legal obligations pursuant to Article 6.1, letter c of EU Regulation 2016/679 or to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court, pursuant to of Article 9.2 , letter f of EU Regulation 2016/679 or to carry out statistics on the use of the site and verify its functionality pursuant to Article 6.1 , letter f of EU Regulation 2016/679.

Mandatory or optional nature of providing data and consequences of a refusal to reply

As a user, you are free to provide or not provide the personal data contained in the E4AC application forms; however, failure to provide the mandatory data and / or consent will make it impossible to obtain the service.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

The voluntary and explicit sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated in the various access channels of e4ac.com and the compilation of the specifically prepared "formats" entail the subsequent acquisition of the address and data of the sender / user, which are needed to respond to the requests produced and / or provide the requested service.

User data may be disclosed to authorities and supervisory and control bodies in compliance with legal obligations, regulations and EU regulations. In this case, the communication of the personal data processed does not require prior consent from the user who uses the site.

Methods of data processing

Data processing takes place both by automated and paper means, applying the security measures provided for by the legislation referred to in EU Regulation 2016/679.

Retention period of personal data and criteria used to determine this period

Your personal data will be stored until the commercial relationship between you and E4AC has been terminated or until such time as you ask for them to be deleted. The criterion used to determine the retention period is based on compliance with the legislation required by EU Regulation 2016/679.

Security

E4AC uses technologies, security measures, rules and other procedures (e.g. minimization and pseudonymisation) to protect users' personal data from unauthorized access, improper use, dissemination, loss or destruction in accordance with the provisions of articles 25-32 of EU Regulation 2016/679. To ensure the confidentiality of data, E$AC uses firewalls and password protection systems that comply with industry standards.

Rights of interested parties

Pursuant to art. 15-22 of EU Regulation 2016/679, you have the right to request the Data Controller to access your personal data, correct or delete them or limit their processing or to oppose their processing. The above requests must be addressed to englishforacademics@pecimprese.it . At any time you can revoke your consent.
